Opera panels

In Opera you can add what is called "web panels", or panels for short. They will appear in your hotlist where the mail and bookmarks are. They are handy for things like checking the weather forecast, keeping a reference of something or generally anything else you would find useful in a website. Explain

These are some of the ones I've made myself and hope you find useful as well. PS: To preview a panel you can right-click and choose "open".

• HTML Entities
  Characters, entities and their codes for HTML usage.
• PHP reference
  A reference of php, includes Function Reference, Language Reference, Features and FAQ. Stripped from php.net, links to the php site.
• HTML Colors
  Color reference for HTML/CSS. With name and hex code.
• BASH command reference
  Bash commands reference.
• Windows XP commands
  All commands for Windows XP professional. They link to Microsoft online support.
• IRC commands
  All the IRC commands Opera supports. Is also usable if you dont use Opera.
• my.opera.com smilies
  All the smilies you can use on my.opera.com forums.

Various Tools

• BASE64
  A panel with different BASE64 related decoding and encoding options, including Binarydecode, DecodePGP, NbtDecode and MsgidDecode.
• ROT13
  ROT13 "live" encoder/decoder.

Norsk

• Mylder nyheter (Norwegian)
  Dette panelet gir deg nyheter fra Mylder.no med mange innstillingmuligheter. Eksempler: 20 IT og media nyheter, 15 kulturnyheter og 7 toppsaker. Du kan endre panelets innstillinger etter du har lagt det til ved å trykke View > Properties.
• Nrk radio (Norwegian)
  Et panel med alle radiokanalene NRK tilbyr over nettet. Jeg liker ikke deres egen nettradio siden den er optimalisert kun for Windows. Dette panelet fungerer derimot finfint også på Linux og Mac. :-) Velg mellom bredbånd eller modem -versjon.

What?

Panels are quite normal web-pages. Any web-page can be added as a panel, but pages made to be narrow look and function best. Pages optimized for mobiles are perfect. To make it easy for a visitor (like you) it is possible to add a tiny bit of code to each link to a panel to indicate to Opera that it is a link to one. When you click the link, Opera immediately asks if you want to add it.
